Ultrasound Technician Training Course

Program Description:

Healthcare Training Institute is a leading Ultrasound technician training school in NJ.  This program is designed to generate a Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound Technologist who is provided with basic knowledge of Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology, Ultrasound physic, Basic Principle of Instrumentation, Vascular and patient Care.

The objective of this ultrasound technician training program will prepare the Participant, with the acquire Imaging recognized skilled both normal and abnormal knowledge conditioned through practice and theory, for the entry - level Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound Technologist (Abdominal or OB/GYN or Vascular) positions. The Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound Technologist is trained to apply the necessary skill to assist radiologist by obtaining the sonographic image for reading at the entry level

This ability is requested and expected from the Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound Technologist by radiologist as well as by physicians. The student will demonstrate an introductory level knowledge of Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology, Physics, Patient care Procedures, Normal Sonographic Application of Abdominal and Small Parts, OB/GYN, Vascular Case Study Protocol, Writing, Filling, Filing in related area upon completion.

A Certificate is awarded to a student upon successful completion of all graduate requirements listed in the student catalog.

Course Schedule:
 
AM Schedule: 20 hours per week x 8 weeks = 160 hours
PM Schedule: 14 hours per week x 11.5 weeks - 160 hours

Day Class: Monday through Thursday 8:15 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. (Day)
Breaks: 10:20 to 10:40, 12:40 to 1:00

Evening Class: Monday through Thursday 6:00 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. (Evening)
Break: 7:40 to 8:00

Weekend Class Saturdays: 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Breaks: 10:20 to 10:40, 12:40 to 1:00
